Re-introducing Capellic It's nice to meet you again!

Today is an exciting day. Brand and website redesign launches are always a culmination of years of work across multiple disciplines. This launch is particularly exciting, because it means it’s finally time for us to reintroduce Capellic.

Our work began with an in-depth look at what made our team special to each other and our clients. Thanks to the help of The Black Sheep Agency, we learned some important things about ourselves:

  • We demonstrate intuitive human partnership: Although our work is for organizations, our day-to-day work starts and ends with people. We develop talent within clients’ organizations, we build real relationships, and we reject the transactional attitudes ubiquitous in the agency space.
  • We empower people to deliver on their missions: We are here to serve social-good organizations as they work to improve the world around us. Our focus is on helping organizations and the teams working on their behalf to do as much as possible with the investment that they are making because every dollar counts. Empowerment is more than tools and code, it’s helping clients build the internal capacity to carry out their strategic objectives on their own.
  • We incorporate strategy into each decision: Some companies advertise strategic thinking as a plus, but it’s foundational for us. It’s felt in every communication, action, and deliverable.

Know what matters

These concepts eventually turned into the designs, content, and services of the rebrand. And the through line is that we’re here to be your partners as you navigate the digital landscape - to share what we know, learn from what you know, and meet your organization where it is - so you can deliver on your mission better than before you met us.

So whereas some things have changed, our core has not.

  • We serve mission-based organizations
  • We believe empathy is central to what we do, how nonprofits meet donors, supporters, and service recipients where they are, and how we work with each other and our clients day-to-day
  • We believe that diversity, equity, and inclusion efforts will make Capellic a stronger company and make our team more adaptable and stronger partners to each other and our clients
  • We believe that expertise and strategic thinking are critical to successfully adapting to an always changing environment

So what has changed?

A new website, logo, and color scheme, of course, which we all love, by the way! (Expect a post soon from our Creative Director Neal Maher, who will talk about the research and background that informed the changes.) Beyond the visual changes, Capellic is expanding what we do and how we do it:

Strategy -> Implementation -> Ongoing Improvement

Capellic’s team can take your organization from beginning to end and then some on your next redesign. Our process pays special attention to stakeholder engagement and change management. We also can help develop a roadmap and product management process for managing your site well after launch. We also provide content strategy, creative, user research, and user experience expertise to all of our projects, big or small.

Making our services more accessible

Not everything is a redesign. Capellic has introduced targeted services designed to help you achieve specific goals or learn specific things about your digital program. More details on those services are here.

More sharing

Our team is spending more time sharing what we know so others can benefit from it and build capacity within their organizations. This will most frequently show up on our Insights page, but is also part of how we work within the open source community and, most recently, a small and free summit on how to approach changes being ushered in by AI.
