Paul Venuti

Paul is responsible for determining the backend architecture and technical approach of the projects he leads, ensuring that the technical solutions he delivers meet the needs of Capellic's clients. These days, that primarily means working with the National Education Association (NEA), helping manage and develop their national site and their growing portfolio of 25+ affiliate sites. He is particularly interested in writing reusable code that the NEA dev team can use to accelerate their development process. 

Before joining Echo&Co. in 2010 (and Capellic in 2024), Paul worked as a technical writer for a large software corporation, where he wrote user guides and manuals for everything from mainframe-based source control systems to backup solutions for the general consumer. As interesting as that sounds, Paul vastly prefers helping the stellar nonprofits and progressive organizations that comprise our client list achieve their goals and enact lasting change.

Paul holds a Bachelor of Arts in English literature from Boston College and lives in Cambridge with his wife and their dog. In his spare time, Paul enjoys reading (especially fantasy, sci-fi, and history), jogging around Cambridge and Somerville, listening to actual play podcasts, playing video games, and continuing on his quest to learn Portuguese.
