NTC and The Sparkle Explosion

Wow. I mean, woooow! We thought we were going to get some good names at NTC this year, but we were blown away by the creativity, ridiculousness, and the sheer volume of submissions. Over 160 names, in fact!

The winning name was “Joan of SpARKle” and it beat out some pretty stiff competition like Harry CORNick Jr., Pointy McHorseface, and Charlie. Our winner, Holly, comes from an animal shelter in Fort Wayne where she names animals to help them get adopted. So, it all makes sense.

Holly made quick use of unicorn:

We also loved how fun it was. People really got into it.

The NTEN staff even gave it a special pass!

And sometimes, we couldn’t have planned it better…

And we definitely weren’t going to pass up the opportunity.

Without further ado…
