Marcela Gallegos

Marcela brings a strong background in digital project management to the Capellic team. One of her favorite things about the job is  helping non-profits communicate their mission, connect with their audience, and bring their annual strategies to fruition. Before joining Capellic in 2020, she worked as a Project Manager at a creative digital agency, where she managed the production and launch of a variety of websites, ranging from startups to established companies and brand-new platforms.

As a Project Manager, her core focus is keeping the team aligned on the project's main goals while staying within timeline and budget constraints. She takes a highly flexible approach, which allows her to quickly pivot the team or project as necessary. 

She is PMP certified, a globally recognized professional credential for project managers offered by the PMI (Project Management Institute).

Marcela’s most recent project accomplishments include: 

• Directing the 40+ affiliate rollout for Easterseals while managing continuous improvement for the national site. 
• Delivering a brand new site for Law Help Colorado, from initial strategy to site handoff, all within a year. 
• Managing support and continuous improvement for 4+ sites at once, including National Education Association, Easterseals, Facing History and Ourselves, and Ohio Legal Help. 

Outside of work, she enjoys the foodie scene, traveling – near or far, and if it's sunny, enjoying a nice walk or outdoor activity.
