Dustin LeBlanc
Dustin is a strategic thinker who loves to utilize the latest in web technologies to advance the mission of nonprofits. He has been developing for the web with Drupal since 2013, supporting nonprofits, the B-Corp community, and higher education since day one. Today Dustin leads client engagement with Facing History and Ourselves, where he architects feature sets and supports a hybrid development team of Capellic staff and in-house developers.
Dustin specializes in two major areas: Systems design and development methodologies. He is a force multiplier who strives to constantly expand the capabilities of a development team through constant learning and the sacrifice of dogma. He is most at home collaborating with a cross-functional team to sketch out plans for wide-reaching and ambitious projects and then unblocking and coordinating the development team to get the project across the finish line. Whether deep into a coding session or on his seventeenth zoom call of the week, he is concerned primarily with laying the foundation for others to succeed through careful design and thoughtful mentoring.
Dustin has presented and lead training at a myriad of Drupal events including DrupalCon Baltimore, BadCamp, Cornell Drupal Camp, and Colorado Drupal Camp. He has contributed to open source projects like Lando, Drupal, Terminus, and Robo.
When not working, Dustin likes to mountain bike, make noise with guitars, read, and play the odd video game or two.
